Say “see ya” to winter and “hello” to spring, because it’s September and we are that excited to see the days get longer and the beaches get warmer here on the beautiful Gold Coast! So put away those winter woollies, get those bikinis and board shorts ready, and read on to discover our favourite events coming up on the Gold Coast in September!
Fun at the Show!
The first weekend of September brings the amazing Gold Coast Show to Broadwater Parklands and Owen Park in Southport. There’s everything from side-shows, farm animals, arts and crafts stalls, live music, food, entertainment, and even camel rides on the beach and pig racing. The best part? This amazing event now has free entry!
What: The 112th Annual Gold Coast Show
When: 31st August – 2nd September
Where: Broadwater Parklands (with equestrian events at Owen Park)

The awe-inspiring Swell Sculpture Festival is back this September bringing with it over 50 amazing sculptural works by national and international artists all set on the unique stage of beautiful Currumbin Beach. As well as taking time to view these wonderful sculptures, you can also attend master classes, art activities, and sculpture workshops, plus check out the fantastic local music scene on the music stage!

Celebrate Brazilian Day 2018 with Brazilian themed food, dancing, cultural performances and music at the one and only Miami Marketta! Bring along a group of friends and party into the night at this fun event at one of our favourite venues on the Gold Coast!
